Flickr Find: A Happy Accident

An act of God? Well, that might be going a bit far. Neural Mural is a pizza connoisseur with a sharp eye who made this happy little discovery on what looks lite it could possibly be a Little Caesars pizza, judging by the little globs of sausage.

How can I judge this? It's more of a happy pepperoni than a happy pizza. Plus Neural Mural didn't actually make it. It's a great face, but I'm going to have to disqualify it for being an "act of God".

Here's what he had to say:
Here's the happiest pepperoni you'll ever meat.

I didn't create this :P. It just happened.

His joy was transferred to me as my gastric juices melted the smile off of his face.

Notes: Adjusted Levels and color balance. The Macro shot was so close that the camera blocked the light. The original was a little fuzzy so I shrunk it until it was sharp. Camera: Canon Powershot SD400 Digital Elph

"Gastric juices".... mmmm, tasty. What do you expect from a guy whose photo stream includes close-up photos of his own lips?

Check out the full-size smile on Neural Murals stream.

A Quick Slice Chicago-style pizza, or deep dish pizza contains a crust which is formed up the sides of a deep dish pan. It reverses the order of ingredients, using crust, cheese, filling, then sauce on top. Some versions (usually referred to as "stuffed") have two layers of crust with the sauce on top. Deep dish pizza was purportedly invented and first served in 1943 at Pizzeria Uno, which is still operating along with its twin restaurant, Pizzeria Due, in the River North neighborhood.
